Nita Radhakrishnan, Additional Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the Post Graduate Institute of Child Health (SSPHPGTI), Noida, said PHORUM 2025 was held as a SIOP Meet-up and brought together 91 delegates and 24 faculty members, including pediatricians, nurses, social workers, junior doctors, persons with lived experience and psychology students.
The forum featured sessions on early integration of palliative care, communication and breaking bad news, pain management, and a hands-on demonstration of the Global Comfort Promise (GCP), underscoring a multidisciplinary commitment to comfort-centered pediatric oncology care.
Radhakrishnan expressed gratitude for the collective engagement in advancing compassionate, patient- and family-centered care and thanked attendees for their participation.
